It is an exciting pleasure to gather together once again to announce a series of inspiring events that are scheduled at our beloved St. Mary's Church. These events are designed to enrich our spiritual lives, foster communion with each other, and serve as opportunities to grow in our faith. Mark your calendars and join us for these meaningful moments:
Holly Week Schedule
10:30, Palm Sunday – Blessing of the Palms; procession outside. We have secured the band to lead us in procession. The service will have less music. It will end after the post communion prayer in silence, no hymn, no blessing, no dismissal. You are asked to depart in silence it is preferable not to hold coffee hour to help us begin Holy Week mindful of all that he endured for Love of us. – in-person and Zoom
7:00, Maundy Thursday –The Service with Foot Washing, Procession of the Sacrament to the Garden of Repose. Stripping of the Altar followed by silent vigil for those who wish to keep watch for a short time in the garden with Him in His Eucharistic Presence – in-person only
Good Friday – 11 am Stations of the Cross (possibly outside in the garden).
Noon to 3 Good Friday Liturgy. There will be no extra musicians. There will be the Liturgy from the prayer book with veneration of the cross, communion, followed by the 7 last words with prayer, reflections, hymns, silence, in-person and Zoom
